Founded in 2023, Crafty Manatee Makes (CMM) is a small corner of the internet selling original designs as stickers, magnets, bookmarks, and more. I aim to meet all your cute manatee, animal, brown soda, and Taskmaster the television show needs (and yes, that is an eclectic combination!)

The store is named for my lifelong love of manatees and of making anything and everything I can. I run my shop from my home in Southeastern Virginia.

Hi, my name is Laura! I’m a clarinetist by training, non-profit administrator by trade, and lifelong Maker of Things™ by hobby.

I find joy in creating in many mediums, be it drawing, painting, needlework, crochet, or whatever I’m experimenting with that week! I love the feeling of having created something where there was nothing before; Crafty Manatee Makes was born out of wanting to capture that feeling and share it with others. 

My art centers around things that bring me joy, particularly manatees, my favorite animal since childhood. 

Originally from Maine, I now live in Virginia with my partner and dog Zelda.
